God I Slack!
It's just too hot to do anything. I blame the Sun.
Here's a list of unexpected things that popped up on our vacation. Some of these will be posted about later.
-Pigs
-Mustached Men in the Middle of Highway 9
-Slow bicyclists
-Collin screaming at slow bicyclists
-Giant watermelon Margaritas
If there's anything else I'll post about it later. I have been watching a slew of movies, though! Yay me! Hope you all are having a fine week!

Turning Into My Mother
Thursday I went to QDoba with Collin on his lunch break. While we were eating, we heard the guy sitting behind us start to tell a story. He said, "So I wake up and I'm buck-ass naked. So I get up and go into the other room and there's my girlfriend and another guy sleeping in the same bed but they've got clothes on..." We stopped listening about there because we were looking at each other and laughing.
Now, like some couples, we sit next to each other when we go out to eat and not across from each other so neither of us saw what the guy talking looked like. About five minutes later the group behind us gets up to leave. They all look like landscapers, kinda dirty and grungy from working outside. One is older so I'm thinking it wasn't him who woke up sans clothing. But the other two guys are younger, mid-20's to early 30's and I'm looking at them, trying to decide which one had been talking when Collin says, "Which one do you think woke up naked?"
"I was just trying to figure that out...oh, never mind." The taller of the two started talking and we realized from his voice it was him. I had been right, even though I hadn't gotten the chance to voice my opinion. But I keep talking. "I figured it was him cuz the other guy was too short."
"Too short to be naked?"
So there you go. And no, dogs don't bark at me.

I'm So Lazy
Seriously - there's nothing going on worth posting about...well, there is something but it's kinda Collin's deal and I'll let him talk about the dog we might be getting! :D
I've been working on making a library of what songs I have - I've gotten to the point where I don't even know what I have and don't have. That means it's bad. You should see all the cd's piled up around our house! And with the installation of Entertainmart, a place that sells used music CHEAP, right down the street, the piles just get bigger and bigger. It's a problem and soon I'll be taking pills for it. Until then I'll be enjoying all the new music I've acquired in the past month.
Really, nothing else is going on. I just wanted to let people know I was still alive! Hope you're all having a wonderful Thursday!

So tired.....
God, moving is hard work!! But I keep telling Collin that this is IT! We're not moving ever again. I hope he likes this house he bought because I'm not doing this again!!!
Really, I guess it's not THAT awful bad...it's just a lot of physical labor and it's time consuming. I have no patience, I want everything done NOW!! I want to flip my ponytail like Genie and have everything moved over to the new house, exactly where it needs to be, and the old apartments cleaned. I can dream...
The new house is great - Collin's planning a video tour through the house at some point so you can all see what it looks like. It's soooo pretty!
Hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend!!

Back & Blank
I'm back from my vacation and it was really uneventful. The most uneventful vacation I've ever had. So that means that I have nothing to post. Nothing at all. It's really kind of sad. I'll be working this week in getting my great grandparents' courtship letters in chronological order and be posting them on my Anton & Olga blog soon so that's something that I'm looking forward to.
Until then, I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Vacation Time
I'm in Grand Junction right now, visting with Grandma and my cousin Shelly. I've never had a chance to ever really sit down and talk to Shelly but now since she lives with Grandma, I've got the chance. She stayed up til 1am last night talking with Dad & I and before that we played games all evening (I lost at Oh Heck! and lost 3 out of 5 games of Gimme 5) - she's a lot of fun.
The trip over was good until we hit Debeque Canyon and then the wind started! The windspeed was clocked at 42 mph and I haven't heard what the highest gust was but the wind almost knocked the Vue into the Colorado River! And it didn't die down when we got into Jct, either. It ripped shingles off of Grandma's neighbor's house and broke Grandma's wind chimes and mailbox! About 8pm last night it finally died down.
I ran to Target last night for pj's - - I had forgotten to back anything to sleep in and I had to share a bed with Grandma so I figured I better have SOMETHING!! I got the cutest shirt while I was in there - - the color is listed as Brick Heather and it has a silhouette of the state of Kansas on it with a pig on it. On the pig it says 1982 and then at the top it says "Kansas State Fair." At the bottom it says "Go hog wild!" What's so great about this shirt is that I've been reading the courtship letters of my great grandparents and they were from Kansas so I figure this shirt ties in with all that Kansas Fun! Ha!
Speaking of, I'll be starting a new blog here shortly where I'm going to be posting the old letters. They were written between 1915-1917 and they're incredibly interesting! I'll get that up when I get home. In the meantime, have a great Tuedsay!

I have nothing.
But I want to do something. So let's play a game of "Caption the Photo"! Yay!
Here's the photo:

Now, you give it a caption. Yes. You.

A Big Fat Friday Full Of Nothing
Poop.
I have nothing to post today. I wanted to do a photo post today but I never got around to it. We watched the 60's movie Please Don't Eat The Daisies last night...I really liked it. It was the first movie I've ever seen with Doris Day in it, surprisingly.
Wow...seriously, there is just nothing going on. OH! Some good news: it looks like maybe someone from our shift won't have to go to the other shift after all...something about the legality of it all. Whatever, as long as I don't have to switch shifts.
I hope everyone has a great weekend!
