And Another...and another....

Yet something else I snagged from Kathleen's always fun site:

The One Thing

1. If you could recommend only one book for others to read, what would it be and why? Yikes! I don't usually read deep, profound books. I always read for my amusement but what amuses me varies so I go through phases like romance, mystery, history, biography, etc etc etc. But! I suppose if I had to recommend one it would have to be Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone just to get others obsessed with HP like I am!

2. What is your one favorite song? Why? New Generation by Skid Row. This song oozes power and flippin' cool guitar riffs. Plus Johnny's voice is incredible.

3. What is the one thing that is the biggest time saver in your life? Microwave Oven. Seriously. I don't cook and this little gadget has kept me fed over the years.

4. What is one gadget you couldn't live without and why? iPod. I'm at a loss when I don't have music going and at work before Collin gave me his I was going nutters!

5. If you could recommend one film for others to see, what would it be and why? The Grass Is Greener with Cary Grant and Robert Mitchum. One of the cutest and romantic films ever made. It's always good for a laugh when you're feeling down and don't have that Care Bear book handy!!

6. What is the one cure or preventative measure you believe in and for what ailment? Swishing Listerine over toothaches. It works and I don't question it!

7. What is the best advice you've ever received and from whom? One day I was down - seriously depressed - and my friend Christina said "You bring everyone else down when you're down." I've always remembered that and so now, even if I feel down, I keep a smile on my face and that alone usually helps improve my mood.

8. If you could introduce the entire world to just one band/musical artist, who would it be and why? Badfinger. I love them and everyone else should, too! Their music is up and fun and genius...

9. If you could convince others you meet or know of one thing, what would it be? That Pete Ham was the best musician to ever live.

10. What do you believe is one of the greatest ways of wasting money and how do you combat it? Wasting money, for me, is easiest on movies and music. I combat it by going to the library and checking out what I want to hear or see and that way, if it's good enough for me to watch or listen to again, I know it's worth the money.

Been Caught Stealing

I found this at Kathleen's site; it looked like fun so I took it.

Hardback or trade paperback or mass market paperback? Honestly, I don't care. As long as I have the book! If it's Victoria Holt or Phyllis Whitney, though, it's all of them! I have to have every copy - hardback, paperback, different covers...it's tough being a collector! :-)

Amazon or brick and mortar? I don't care as long as I get the book I'm looking for.

Barnes & Noble or Borders? See above.

Bookmark or dogear? Bookmark, bookmark, bookmark!!! Dogears are so rude!

Alphabetize by author or alphabetize by title or random? Right now everything is a random jumble because of the move but when I get the books all sorted it will be this way: all hardbacks together, alphabetized by author then by release date. Then the paperbacks done the same way. Collin calls me Monica (from "Friends")...I have no idea why!

Keep, throw away, or sell? If you saw my house you wouldn't ask me this question. I keep everything!!!!

Keep dustjacket or toss it? What? People toss the dustjackets?

Read with dustjacket or remove it? Remove it usually. I tend to tear them if I leave them on.

Short story or novel? Either.

Harry Potter or Lemony Snicket? I like them both but Harry Potter is my choice.

Stop reading when tired or at chapter breaks? I stop when I have to so that would be wherever I am.

“It was a dark and stormy night” or “Once upon a time”? Both.

Buy or Borrow? Usually buy but I'll borrow if someone has something I really want to read. If I like it I'll buy it at some point.

New or used? Both, I'm not picky, but have a tendency to buy used more often, just because it's cheaper.

Buying choice: book reviews, recommendation or browse? Recommendation or browsing.

Tidy ending or cliffhanger? Tidy ending, please. I hate having to sit around thinking about what could possibly happen.

Morning reading, afternoon reading or nighttime reading? ANY time I can get a minute.

Stand-alone or series? Both.

Favorite series? There are so many!!! Harry Potter, J.D Robb's Eve Dallas series, Elizabeth Peters Amelia Peabody series, Jackie Collins' Lucky series...

Favorite children's book? The Secret Garden

Favorite book of which nobody else has heard? The Wit'ch War series by the man who's name I can never remember...James Clemens, I think. Excellent set of books!

Favorite books read last year? Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier and all the J.D. Robb Eve Dallas books.

Favorite books of all time? The Road To Paradise Island by Victoria Holt, The Golden Unicorn by Phyllis A. Whitney, Tick Tock by Dean Koontz, Remembrance by Jude Deveraux.

Least favorite book you finished last year? Murder At The Washington Post by Margaret Truman

What are you reading right now? Highland Velvet by Jude Deveraux

What are you reading next? The next 2 books in the Velvet series.

Tag! You're It, Baggy Eyes!

A little side note to start things off, this is post #525!

So! I've been tagged yet again by the cutest of bloggers, Collin. I'm supposed to list 6 weird things about me then tag 6 other people. It's hard thinking of weird things about myself. I think I'm pretty normal but we'll see...

1) I have the worst balance EVER! I'll just be standing there talking and, whoops! Over I'll start to go. 99% of the time I can catch myself and usually Collin's got my back - he seems to know when I'm toppling...he can reach out and right me without missing a step of whatever it is he's doing! When he's not there, though, it can get hairy. I was with Mom one day and started to go over and she had no clue. I almost hit the dirt!

2) I am an organizational freak. I have all these little projects in the works intended to organize my life. So far I haven't completed them because, frankly, they're freakin' HUGE but one day I'll finish them. My plans include to sort all my music into alphabetical order by song title (for this I have fancy colored index cards and shiny markers), put all my photos into scrapbooks and file all the genealogy info I've acquired into my NEW FILING CABINET! There'snot enough time in the day to get all this stuff done. What's weird about this is that it's fun to me!

3) I roller skated with a movie star! When I was in 6th grade...6th or 7th...I went roller skatiing at Skate City (which now happens to be right across the street from where I live. If that had been the case THEN, I'd have been a champion roller skater!!) with my friend Sandi. We were skating and this kid came up and asked me if I would skate with his friend during couples skating. The kid he pointed out was cute enough - dark hair and eyes with freckles. I told him, "I will if he asks me himself." So he did. He was sweet and shy and he held my hand while we skated. His name was Kelly Reno, he was from Pueblo and he had just starred in Black Beauty. I didn't realize it til a few months later when I was looking through a 16 magazine and saw a picture of him! If you follow that link - he's at the bottom of the page...he didn't grow up too cute!

4) I can pop my jaw. I've always been able to do it. I just roll my jaw and it pops continually. It can really gross people out which is fun. I didn't realize just how weird it was until we were watching That's Amazing! one night and they had some guy on there doing it. Mom, Dad & Derek were all..."eeeyeew!" and I said, "What? I can do that. Watch!" and then they were "eeeyeew"-ing me!

5) I totally believe in reincarnation. I always have and I don't know where the belief came from. It seems to me that I've always thought that I've lived before. I had a past life reading done once at the metaphysical fair here in town and the lady was a total sham. The things she was telling me didn't mean anything and when I asked why I loved music so much she got all flustered and said that I had been a nun and the chanting was a very important part of my day. Ummm...sure...anyway...the second time I went to an old wrinkled lady all dressed in purple and she was awesome. Without me saying a word to her, she looked at my palm, flipped a few Tarot cards over and started telling me that music & dance had always been important in my life, that I started out as a palace dancer in ancient Egypt and was even a ballerina in one life. In one life was obsessed with horses and was an expert rider and in my last life before this one I was an Italian race car driver. All of it resonated with me in some way: I love anything to do with Egypt, I wanted to be a ballerina when I was little and even took lessons, I LOVE horses and always thought I could have been a race car driver since I love speed. I did, for a while, think I had been Alexandra Romanov...that's a whole other post in itself...but there was a MySpace page a while back where the girl running it thought she was Alix reincarnated and I told Collin, "She can't be cuz I am! Uh!" :-)

6) I'm obsessed with office supplies. It's true...there should be a support group or something. Office Max makes me happy - just looking at all the envelopes, stacks of different colored paper, pens, paper clips, staplers...and the many uses you could get out of them all....it makes my head swim with delight! I have pens everywhere in the house and in my smock pocket at work I have no less than 6 pens, 2 markers (one fat tip, one skinny) and 1 highlighter. I have a little plastic organizer with 3 drawers filled with notebooks. I stock up during the back to school sales and actually get excited thinking of all the wonderful things I could buy! I always wanted a full size filing cabinet and Collin got me one for my birthday this year, making me giddy as a schoolboy!

7) I write in the air. My dad told me once that was a sign of obsessive compulsive disorder and maybe it is but I'm not Monk-like about it...yet. See, if someone says a word that I wonder how to spell or if it sounds neat to me, I'll write it out in the air. Sometimes, though, I'll just write my name in the air for the heck of it. Collin's always asking me what I'm writing. And if I make a mistake...I actually rub my hand over it to erase it.

So there's the 6 things + an extree just cuz I like you. If the following would like to play along, go right ahead. I won't force you:

Kathleen
Restless Angel
Michael Manning
Sylvana
Sara
Derek (since he's already been tagged by Collin)

This has been going around the emails but why not post it here?

Four Things about Me (that you may not have known...)

Four jobs I have had in my life:
1. Pizza hostess at Fargo's - it was so bad I went back a 2nd time.
2. Radio D.J. - That was fun except the pay...and the treatment by management...
3. Golf Course counter clown - UGH! Golfers (with the exception of a few including my dad) are the rudest bunch of people! Not one day went by when I didn't want to smack someone.
4. Operator at an electronics plant - So far my best job - load the machines and read a book or write a story or play a board game or blog....

Four Movies I have watched over and over:
1. Indiana Jones & The Temple Of Doom - "I was happy in Shanghai...I had a little house, a garden...my friends were rich, we went to parties all the time in limosuenes, I hate being outside!!"
2. The Wedding Singer - "You think the 'time to make the doughnuts' guy is sexy."
3. Titanic - "I know what ice fishing is...uh!"
4. While You Were Sleeping - "Is this guy botherin' you, Luce? Looks like he's...uh...leanin'."

Four of my Favorite Songs:

1. Weber
2. Gleanarm
3. Hackberry
4. Durasno Terrace

Four TV channels I enjoy:
1. VH-1 Classic - Lynn Hoffman might bother me but she's a small price to pay to see videos that I haven't seen in years. And the Metal Mania Show...couldn't get any better!
2. The NFL Network - Steve Mariuchi is SO my friend. I may not have liked him when he coached the 49'ers but I love listening to him.
3. History Channel - Enough said.
4. A&E - The Saturday night crime line-up...I used to plan my day around that!

Four of my favorite foods:
1. Chinese Chicken Salad from Mimi's - Add their buttermilk spice muffin to the mix and I'm a happy, happy girl.

That 5 Things Thingy

So Collin tagged me. And no matter what anyone says, I'm not going to call him an evil bastard. He knows I like things like this. So! Here we go:

1. I can sing "My Heart Will Go On" in Italian. Yep. Sure can. When the theme to Titanic was everywhere, Sarah Brightman released a version in Italian on her Eden CD. She included the words. I learned it. So if I ever go to Italy then I can sing while I'm there but that would be about it.

2. I was almost run over by a car driven by a pro wrestler. I was in high school, I think. Derek, Ryan & I went to a WWF event at the Springs Auditorium and Ryan wanted to meet Miss Elizabeth sooooo bad. We went running across the parking lot and out of nowhere came a white sedan and it came within inches of splattering me on the pavement. I looked in the window and sitting at the wheel, looking at me sort of bemused-like, was Tito Santana!

3. I collect anything with The Little Mermaid on it. I don't care what it is. I saw a bike helmet at Toys R Us the other day and I wanted it just cuz it was Ariel. I bought a sucker ring last week and refuse to eat it cuz I like the picture of her.

4. I hate Henry Rollins sooooo much, flames come out of my head....I really, really do. A few years ago I was watching VH-1 and there was an interview with him where he was discussing groupies. His quote was "It never fails...there's always some fat groupie named Heather who says 'will you sign my Care Bear?'" Oooo! Pissed me off!! Dick!

5. What stresses me out the most? Parking. Seriously. If I have to go somewhere I've never been, I will drive by a couple days before hand to scout out the parking situation. I go to pick up Justin & Jordyn from school a half hour early so I can get the best parking spot. I get all freaky about where I put my car. I'm terrified of towing companies, as well.

So there you go. Not as interesting as Derek & Collin but - - still...you probably didn't know any of that unless you were Derek or Collin. Oh! And I'm not adopted, no matter what Derek says. He said that one day when we were younger and Mom came home from work. I said, "My mom is home!" and he, of course, said that she wasn't my mom cuz I was adopted. When I told mom that and added that my reply had been that I couldn't be adopted since I looked just like her, she said, "Well, that's because I'm adopted, too." Ha!

Danger Will Robinson, Danger!

**WARNING. LONG POST FOLLOWS**

Consider yourself warned. I stole this quiz (yet again) from El Sid. She called it a "gay little rainbow quiz." We'll see what happens....

* Red *
Closest red thing to you? The "-=" button on the adding machine.
Last thing to make you angry? This idiot kid who was waiting at Wold to turn left onto Maizeland. I was going to turn left on Wold and when I turned on my blinker, he decided that meant he was suddenly granted the right of way and turned in front of me. Idiot.
Ever been in love? Yes. I am now.
Are you a fan of romance? I love romance. I can't count how many times I saw Titanic or how many sappy romance books I've read and cried over!

* Orange *
Closest orange thing to you? The "I need assistance" light on the prober.
Do you like to burn things? Incense. Candles. I'm not a pyro like some people I know.
Dress up for halloween? Yep. If I'm not working.
Are you usually a warm-hearted person? Of course!
Do you have anything against ginger hair? Nooo...weird question.
Are you usually full of energy? Depends on what day it is & if I've worked.

* Yellow *
Closest yellow thing to you? The sticky note stuck to the side of my computer telling what time the wafers get out of the data retention bake oven.
Favourite holiday? Christmas & my birthday. It's a holiday - in Italy!
What makes you smile? Collin, Sam, kittens, puppies, our new house...
Are you a coward? Depends on the situation.
Do you burn or tan? I freckle. I used to burn but my skin decided that was passe so it started freckling. Collin once suggested I circle the freckles on my body before I went out into the sun to see how many new ones popped up!

* Green *
Closest green thing to you? The power light on the PEMAV test system.
Do you care about the environment? Sure.
Are you jealous of anyone right now? Skinny women.

Another Quiz

Just to annoy the people who think I have too much time on my hands to take quizzes! :-) I found this one over at Pat Angello's site!

Have you ever been in a fantasy league? Yes...well, no...I guess it wasn't a real league. It was a bunch of people that my ex worked with and I was nominated to be the "secretary", the one who kept all the stats, because I was the only girl and guess what? I kicked all their asses and WON!!

What was the first sports jersey you ever owned? It was a Green Bay Packer Don Majkowski jersey. It didn't have his name on the back, just the 7 on each side. But I loved it!!!

10 favorite athletes:
Randy Gradishar
John Elway
Shannon Sharpe
Joe Sakic
Peter Forsberg
Stephane Yelle
Patrick Roy
Trevor Pryce
Rod Smith
Alex Tanguay

Three Athletes I secretly admire but am ashamed to admit it for fear of ridicule.
Sergei Fedorov
Ryan Smyth
Martin St Louis

Three people (outside family) you would pay to have coffee with:
Gwen Stefani
Kate Hudson
Rasputin

One Thing You Could Change if you Could:
My Dad's health - make it better.

So there you go. I liked this one because of the sports questions. So much fun!!!

Melty, Gooey Brain

God, it's sooooo hot at work that my brain has totally melted. Because of that, I'm reverting back to part 2 of the quiz that I borrowed from El Sid. It's just too hot to think of anything new.

11. DO YOU GET SCARED IN THE DARK? Not usually...a couple times it's happened when I really work myself up, though.

12. THE LAST PERSON TO MAKE YOU CRY? Myself. I was sick and felt bad that I was probably going to make Collin sick, too.

13. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PERFUME? Xi'a Xi'ang or Obsession.

14. WHAT KIND OF HAIR/EYE COLOR DO YOU LIKE ON THE OPPOSITE SEX? Red hair and blue eyes...tiny blue eyes. :-)

15. COFFEE OR ENERGY DRINKS? Pish-posh. I need none of that. Give me Diet Pepsi any day.

16. WHAT ARE YOU READING RIGHT NOW? Conspriacy In Death by JD Robb.

17. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PIZZA TOPPING? Pepperoni and Onions. Light Sauce. No sauce is even better.

18. IF YOU COULD EAT ANYTHING RIGHT NOW WHAT WOULD IT BE? A magic pill that would make me have the body of Angelina Jolie - - pre Shiloh.

19. WHO IS THE LAST PERSON THAT MADE YOU MAD? Ummm...probably Matt from the fab. He used to work with me and he was in the break room tonight. He talks really really loud and thinks he's funny. He annoys the hell out of me.

20. DO YOU SPEAK ANOTHER LANGUAGE? Nope. I can count to 10 in Spanish, to 3 in French and say a couple things in Swedish. Not too impressive.

So there we are. 20 down, 80 to go! Whooo!!! Hope you all had a great weekend.

Because I Can

El Sid always has the greatest quizzes so...this one is inordinately long so I broke it up and will post it in parts when I'm too lazy to think of anything else! Here we go - - -

1. ONE OF YOUR SCARS, HOW DID YOU GET IT? I can only pick one? That's like picking a favorite child! Okay, okay - - the one on my right hand underneath my thumb - I was 4 or 5 and I cut it on an open orange juice can. It's all round and puffy and gross...awesome!!!

2. WHAT IS ON THE WALLS IN YOUR ROOM? Not one, not two, not three but FIVE posters of the Eiffel Tower, one of Captain Jack Sparrow and a framed Powerman 5000 poster. Oh, and a Badfinger album (Straight Up), the mermaid that Collin drew me that's my header & 2 Patrick Roy pictures, one from Mom and the other from Dad.

3. WHAT DOES YOUR CELL PHONE LOOK LIKE? It's small...silver & orange. Plays pretty cute music when it rings.

4. WHAT MUSIC DO YOU LISTEN TO? Whatever I'm in the mood for. In my car I have Rascal Flatts, Nina Gordon, Cinderella & Def Leppard.

5. DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME YOU WERE BORN? 4:45pm.

6. WHAT DO YOU WANT MORE THAN ANYTHING RIGHT NOW? At this very moment...cool air and to go home (I'm at work).

7. WHAT DO YOU MISS? My Grandpa Widegren and my great Grandma Reed.

8. WHAT IS THE VELOCITY OF AN UNLADEN SPARROW IN FLIGHT? If El Sid hadn't said it, I wouldn't have known this was a mistyped Monty Python reference.

9. DO YOU PREFER HOT DOGS OR HAMBURGERS? Depends. If I'm at home, hamburgers most likely. At a ball park or carnival or what-have-you, hot dogs with sauerkraut & mustard!

10.WHAT ARE YOU CONSIDERED [[PREP, GOTH, JOCK, ETC]]? Hell, I don't know. Geek.

That's it for this installment. Trust me, this was loooooong so there's plenty more where this came from!!!

A Dry & Dusty Day

You Are Apple Pie

You're the perfect combo of comforting and traditional
Those who like you crave security
What Kind of Pie Are You?

You Are 32% Evil

A bit of evil lurks in your heart, but you hide it well.
In some ways, you are the most dangerous kind of evil.
How Evil Are You?

So I'm not as evil as I thought. Damn. But that pie sure looks good! :-)

Yeah, I'm dry as far as posts go right now...I did complete the medium level on Guitar Hero for the 2nd time and got 5 stars on all the songs. To be a guitar god you have to get 5 stars on medium, hard & expert. Right now I'm considered a guitar legend. :-) I started the hard level and got through 9 songs before I had to go to bed. I'm getting fairly good at the game. Surprisingly my favorite songs to play are Spanish Castle Magic (Jimi Hendrix), Ace Of Spades (Motorhead) & Bark At The Moon (Ozzy).

We took Guitar Hero over to Derek's the night of the poker party and made everyone play. Mom was funny - - she tried so hard. Heather (Squatchy) picked it up right away and it took Derek a bit but he caught on and kept saying "One more, aww just one more." It's sooo addictive and everyone should be playing it!! :-)

I Love De Quizzes

You Are Fozzie Bear

"Wocka! Wocka!"
You're the life of the party, and you love making people crack up.
If only your routine didn't always bomb!
You may find more groans than laughs, but always keep the jokes coming.
The Muppet Personality Test

I love Fozzy! This rocks!

Your Stripper Song Is

Like a Virgin by Madonna

"Like a virgin, ooh, ooh
Like a virgin
Feels so good inside
When you hold me, and your heart beats, and you love me"

No virgin-ness implied. Not at all.
What Song Should You Strip To?

That works. I guess.

You Are Jan Brady

Brainy and a little introverted, you tend to think life is a lot worse than it actually is.
And while you may think you're a little goofy looking, most people consider you to be a major babe.
What Brady Are You?

How perfect is this? Instead of "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!" my whiny line is "Derek, Derek, Derek!!" Haha. Have a great weekend!

80 Things I Stole From El Sid

El Sid had this quiz and I love quizzes. Whee!

Do you watch the Gilmore Girls?: I saw some of the first season and never watched it after that. It wasn't that I didn't like it...I just...didn't feel like watching it anymore.

Have you ever enjoyed listening to Jack Johnson?: Yes. I just got the Curious George Soundtrack and it's very good.

Do you listen to Christian rock?: Only old Stryper when I want to relive the days where I flunked math and Mom's restriction included no music except for Stryper. Blah.

Have you ever seen or enjoyed watching the O.C.?: Once. And miraculously it was the episode where they played a cover of a Badfinger song.

Do you have one or more Britney Spears C.D.?: Ummm...okay, okay - I'll admit it. The only Britney CD I don't have is that new mixes one. I actually have all the others!! I don't like her but some of her music is fun. And Jordyn likes it!

Do you regularly watch the news?: No.

Which radio station is your favorite?: Even though the morning guy annoyed me - I still listen to The Peak 95.1

Are you a Lost fanatic? : Never seen it but Shanon is going to let me borrow Season 1 so Collin & I can get all into it.

[[Be honest]]

Do you have a song by Ozzy Osbourne in your library?: I have his greatest hits CD.

Alanis Morissette?: I think I have 3 of her CD's

Do you watch Family Guy regularly?: Somewhat. I love Stewie.

The Simpsons?: I LOVE THE SIMPSONS!!! Although I haven't seen a new episode in a while since I work on Sundays.

King of the Hill?: Not as much.

[[Admit it]]

Do you read trashy romance novels often?: Not trashy, no. I have gotten into Nora Roberts as of late who writes pretty good romance with a plot.

Do you really work out every day?: Bah! I used to. I've gotten extremely lazy.

Have you ever eaten chocolate in bed?: Probably

Have you ever eaten an entire pint, or more, of ice cream by yourself? : Maybe...a long time ago.

Have you ever spent an entire day in bed without being sick?: No. I get too bored.

Have you ever eaten nothing but junk food for a week straight? : Yes.

Do you shower every single morning, no exceptions?: Morning? Hardly ever - I take one in the afternoon before work.

Have you ever gone to school/work only 15 minutes after waking up?: Yes and I hate that feeling. Hate it.

Do you ever forget to give an xmas present & instead keep it for yourself?: No. I love giving presents so I wouldn't ever be able to do that.

Do you sing obnoxiously in the car when you're driving alone?: I sing in the car no matter if I'm alone or with people. It's a disease.

Do you sing obnoxiously in the shower when no one's home?:I live alone so I ALWAYS sing in the shower. One time in high school I was singing "Carrie" by Europe in the shower and Dad heard me and never let me live it down.

Have you ever watched a little kid's show when you were over 12?: Of course. I purposely watch Powerpuff Girls and Totally Spies and Spongebob and I used to be addicted to Animaniacs. And Elena loves (loved?) The Wiggles so I watched a lot of that with her.

Have you ever looked forward to going to school?: Probably only to see whatever guy I was crushing on at the time.

[[The Necessary Love Questions That Aren't So Necessary]]

(we'll have to replace the word CRUSH with BOYFRIEND)

Have you ever had an explicit dream involving your crush?: My dreams are always so messed up...yes I have but I've also had dreams like that about people I didn't even like. So disturbing.

(Guys) Have you ever liked a girl but didn't ask her out b/c you were afraid?: The only guy around here is sleeping right now but I KNOW he's told me that he has done that. Poor poor sleeping boyfriend...

Have you ever written a poem/story about your lovelife? I have PILES of notebooks filled with silly love stories.

An autobiography?: It so wouldn't be interesting.

Have you ever listened to a song repeatedly just because it reminded you of your crush?: Oh, Good God...OF FREAKIN' COURSE! I'm a GIRL! We do that. Whole CD's were made to satisfy the crush thing...

Have you ever spent over an hour thinking about nothing but your crush?: Yes.

Do you reread meaningless AIM convos just because they're with your crush? : We don't IM much...and when we do it's not a lot of mushy banter...we're both pretty weird.

Have you ever reconsidered liking someone because of their appearance? : Their appearance changes due to their personality so if they're an ass, they're not attractive in any sense and so my answer is no.

Have you ever liked someone solely for their appearance? At first...I would think, Ooo! Cute guy. But after that it's all about what's going on inside. Are they nice? Smart? Funny???

It's That Time Again

Happy Friday!! Mom has a new post - she thinks she knows what she's getting for Christmas! Check it out! And I also still want your opinion on my micro-post from yesterday...

The end of the year: I found this over at Keri's blog. What was the first line from your blog the first day of each month in 2005?

January: Last year I decided to see just how many books I could read in a year. Whoa! Kicking it off with what a book-geek I am!

February: First off, I want to vent a little bit about this mail blogger system. Yeah, the mail thing ended up by the wayside. Now Collin is my Blog poster!

March: I've started walking on my break again at work. I did start. But then I quit. Then I started again...and now with the ice, I've postponed all late night walks.

April: I've mentioned many, many times how I hate spiders, they ook me out big time. Oh, God...I'm getting ooky...

May: "Sweetie, do you want to join the Columbia Record Club?" Nothing like a little Weird Al to jump start the month of May!

June: So...all those photo posts that Derek has done with the horrible pictures of me, Collin, Mom, Dad, Squatchy...he seems to revel in putting those bad pics up for the world to see. Hee hee. I got him good! :-)

July: Jordyn flounced into the living room the other night and said, "Do you know why I love Jim Croce so much?" Greatest sentence ever uttered by a 5 year old.

August: Last week I picked up a CD by a Broadway star named Kristin Chenoweth.
Yes, I did...and I still listen to it regularly!

September: There really should be no surprise here. All righty then. No surprises, remember that!

October: Sunday morning Prescilla & I went on our usual 5:30am jaunt around the lake. See? I told you I started walking again!

November: Sunday Mom & I went to the Broncos/Eagles game. Hell, yeah and we kicked McNabb's butt!! Whooo!!!!

December: Yeah. I got nothin'. But I can't leave my page without something pretty on it so here: I have that problem a lot - nothin' to post. A sad sad state of affairs, I'll tell ya!

So there you are - the first of what I'm sure will be many year-end fun posts to come!!
